This position is not conventional product management centered on iterative feature releases or user feedback cycles. This is an executive-level technical product ownership role in which you will direct the architecture, technical roadmap, and AI integration across our complete learning infrastructure. You will be accountable for the difficult technical tradeoffs that keep our products efficient, scalable, and laser-focused on measurable student improvement. You will operate with the mindset of a CTO while maintaining the velocity of a product entrepreneur, merging engineering discipline with learning science principles to drive continuous innovation.

What You Will Be Doing
* Building and applying comprehensive education product knowledge to inform strategic direction

* Deploying generative AI capabilities to automate and optimize engineering workflows, supporting the organizational goal of minimizing manual intervention

Director Of AI Product Management Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the chief technology officer for one or more education products, taking ownership of core capabilities and generating business impact through flawless execution and strategic leadership
Basic Requirements
* Substantial experience or demonstrated interest in data-driven learning science
* 7+ years of experience leading critical architecture and design choices on software initiatives, including application of architectural design patterns or major open source technologies
* 2+ years of experience making design decisions that involve cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
* 4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery accountability for a revenue-generating product
* Proven experience developing product capabilities that leverage advanced Generative AI
* Demonstrated use of Generative AI to streamline and simplify work processes

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
