We are recruiting a Community Programme Coordinator to develop and implement the community programmes and support the corps officer in the delivery of mission to the community. Key Responsibilities: Plan, design, implement and evaluate specific programmes, activities and initiatives to fulfil the aims of the Mission Development Plan. This would include developing effect working partnerships with internal mission development teams, external agencies and building links in the community and working with volunteers. Demonstrate a professional and caring manner to create a welcoming and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Strong previous experience and up to date knowledge of developing and implementing successful community programmes. An awareness of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information to programme participants and colleagues in a clear, effective and professional manner. Ability to use your initiative, plan, organise and prioritise your tasks to effectively meet your objectives. The ability and willingness to work within, be empathic with, and promote the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission.
