Your new company You will be joining a public sector organisation that requires additional legal expertise. The team is managing a range of complex and sensitive legal matters and is seeking an experienced professional who can provide immediate, high-quality support and confident decision-making. Your new role As a Grade 7 Legal Advisor, you will deliver authoritative legal advice on significant and complex issues. You will analyse legislation, interpret legal documents, and provide clear, well-reasoned guidance to stakeholders. A core aspect of the role involves managing and progressing a varied litigation caseload within the Northern Ireland court system, including representing cases at all stages. You will work within at least one specialist area such as judicial review, coroner's inquests, inquiries, or criminal proceedings. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will need to: Be a qualified solicitor or barrister licensed to practise in Northern Ireland (or eligible to obtain a practising certificate by the appointment date). Bring a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, including: Advising on complex legal issues, both written and oral. Interpreting legislation and legal documentation. Applying strong analytical skills and sound judgement. Communicating clearly and confidently with clients. Demonstrate 3 years' PQE managing a diverse litigation caseload within the NI court system, including hands-on experience presenting cases in court.
