Our client an International Freight Forwarder specialising in Road Freight is now seeking an experienced Inside Sales Co-ordinator to work in their office based in Thurrock area.
Job description: Sales Coordinator
Role:
· Working within a department of 8 people, part of a wider team of 49.
· Handling enquiries for European groupage services.
· Responsible for own quotations and bookings, as well as supporting the wider sales team.
· Liaising with customers, overseas partners, suppliers and internal teams.
Requirements
Skills required:
· Must have a good understanding of European road freight.
· Capable of manually calculating costs and charges.
· Understanding of taxable kilos.
· Good customer service skills.
·. Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
