The Role

As Numan’s Social Media Lead, you’ll be responsible for a step-change in our approach. Taking us from good to standout across our social platforms. Your mission is to make Numan one of the top health brands on social media in the UK, accelerating our channel growth and engagement by creating content that entertains, educates, and builds trust with our audience. You’ll have the autonomy to build and lead a social strategy that brings our brand to life; through community, standout campaigns, smart partnerships, and the right influencers. This is a big opportunity to put your stamp on a growing health tech brand that truly values social and is investing in it.

You'll Be:

Owning Numan’s Social Strategy

* Develop, refine, and lead the overall social strategy.
* Drive growth in Numan’s social following and engagement across our key channels: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
* Identify and test new opportunities and emerging platforms/subcultures (e.g., Reddit).
* Use social listening to generate fresh insights to inform both creative and product strategy.
* Align activities across content, brand, paid social, and PR to maximise campaign impact.
* Collaborate closely with our Chief Creative Officer and Brand Director to deliver high-quality, creative outputs.
* Manage and motivate agency partners to do their best work.

Creating Powerful Content & Community

* Develop engaging, shareable content that strengthens Numan’s social voice.
* Make Numan interesting: give people a reason to follow, engage, and come back.
* Build a vibrant community and engage directly with our audience.
* Be our social brand guardian: ensuring content is authentic, native, and true to our tone of voice.
* Grow and optimise our YouTube presence with SEO in mind; aim for Health Shelf placement.
* Support broader content needs, from paid social to campaigns and shoots.

Tracking, Reporting & Optimising

* Stay on top of social trends, cultural moments, and platform changes.
* Report on performance weekly with actionable insights.
* Balance paid and organic content for growth, managing budgets accordingly.
* Run ongoing social listening across competitors, categories, and adjacent spaces.

We’re looking for someone who is:

* An expert in building brand presence on social platforms.
* A brilliant content creator: across writing, design, editing, and ideation.
* Experienced with tools like Sprout, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or similar.
* A clear, confident communicator who brings energy to collaboration.
* Confident in speaking up for great creative and bold ideas.
* Curious about why people behave the way they do, be insight-driven in your thinking.
* Passionate about health trends, digital culture, and brand building.
* Experienced in managing social media channels and developing online marketing strategies.
