Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team and support the delivery of residential projects throughout the UK. The Role: This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Electrical Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years’ residential experience to further their career within a dynamic and supportive business. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing compliant, high-quality electrical designs for residential building services projects. Key Responsibilities: * Develop detailed electrical designs for residential projects including lighting, power, fire alarm, security, and containment systems. * Produce specifications, drawings, schedules, and technical reports in support of project delivery. * Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other members of the design team. * Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections as required. * Ensure all designs comply with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and other relevant industry standards. * Provide technical advice and support to project and installation teams. * Stay informed of industry regulations, technology, and best practices. Candidate Requirements: * Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical design within the residential building services sector. * Qualified to 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations. * Solid knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations, and CIBSE guides. * Proficient in relevant software packages such as AutoCAD, Amtech (Trimble), and ideally Revit MEP. * Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
