Key Responsibilities:
* Design game mechanics, features, and systems that support the core gameplay loop.
* Create detailed design documentation including game flowcharts, wireframes, and balancing sheets.
* Collaborate closely with artists, developers, and producers to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
* Iterate on gameplay based on team feedback, playtesting, and data analytics.
* Contribute to level design, mission scripting, and narrative integration when needed.
* Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and player behavior.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 2+ years of experience in game design or a related discipline (adjust as needed).
* Strong understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and user interface.
* Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Jira, Confluence).
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
* A portfolio or examples of past game design work.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with live service/game-as-a-service models.
