We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile banking clients. They are currently looking for an Asset Strategy Team AVP to join them for an initial 6 month contract, however there may be scope for extension.
Role Background
The role sits within the Internal Planning Unit, reporting into the Head of the Asset Strategy Team.
The Asset Strategy Team is responsible for:
Developing Asset Strategy for the department and leading the Asset Sale Program.
Preparation of Axe List for the department.
Monitoring and managing the departments pipeline of transactions to ensure no limit or budget breaches.
Development of profitability improvement initiatives.
Representing the department in numerous Bank wide projects.
Purpose of the Role:
Take an active role in the various projects undertaken by the team to transfer assets through asset sales arrangement
Supporting the team with day-to-day responsibilities of engagement with buyers, agents etc.
Taking necessary internal process of credit applications, communications with relevant depts for asset sales
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Acting as point of contact for Asset Strategy Team to provide help, guidance and advice mainly for sales pipeline and asset monitoring
Collaborate and liaise with Management, Relationship Managers and STPD members
Prepare, manage and coordinate regular asset sales reporting and pipeline control
Support asset sales process liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Assembles ad hoc reports as requested by manager
Supporting the preparation of sales applications for credit using internal credit application system, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Some knowledge of Corporate Finance & Project Finance
PowerBI and other Microsoft products desirable
The ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel under pressure and to time constraints with significant changes.
The ability to work well with colleagues in multiple roles and at most levels of seniority across EMEA and other regions.
Location:
This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients London office 3 days a week.
Working hours:
Standard working hours with some flex where required.
