We are looking for passionate individuals to join our dynamic team and shape our future, as we launch our newest venture at McArthur Glen Swindon.
As Sales Assistant/Keyholder, you will have the opportunity to be involved right at the start of this exciting development and growth phase at the first Kuhn Rikon retail store in the UK. The successful candidate will have opportunities to progress and grow with the company as the store rollout develops and will be an integral member of the store team, fully involved in the day to day operation of the retail store.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to successfully deliver key sales, profit and cost control targets as defined by the Company.
* Carry out key-holder responsibilities, including store opening/closing and any associated duties.
* Proactively engage with customers to promote our innovative kitchenware and generate sales opportunities, identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products to fulfil their requirements.
* Exceed store targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
* Effectively resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
* Engage in training and development opportunities to further enhance personal skills and those of the wider team.
* Carry out all store operations in compliance with Company standards, including merchandising and visual presentation, inventory management, customer service, personnel procedures and security.
* Weekend and bank-holiday working, with flexibility to work varying shifts and to cover for other team members in their absence.
Experience
* Previous experience in retail or similar customer focused environment.
* Demonstrable sales background and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* Energetic, positive approach to team and store success, willing and able to adapt in a fast paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experience with retail epos systems.
* Knowledge of kitchenware products is advantageous.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00 per hour
