Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse at HC‑One, you will build on your existing skill set, practising in a nurse‑led environment, developing complex decision making and collaborative skills. You will make a difference to our residents at a time of their life when they may feel the most vulnerable, guiding and supporting them in life‑changing decisions. You will have at least 12 months experience in health or social care, a valid NMC pin number, and understand your commitment to the profession through the standards of practice set by the NMC. You will mentor and share your knowledge with colleagues, provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students, and demonstrate effective communication, role‑model professional behaviours and deliver a person‑centred approach to care. Safeguarding is every‑one’s responsibility; you will recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and report concerns appropriately.

Job responsibilities

We will support residents in a caring environment, forming lasting connections and ensuring their dignity and well‑being. Your responsibilities include delivering safe, high‑quality nursing care, supporting family members, supervising staff and liaising with external health services. This supportive, collaborative role demands empathy, excellent communication, and the ability to manage complex health needs.


About you

You are a registered nurse with a passion for continuous learning and a drive to mentor and develop peers. You hold a valid NMC pin, have at least 12 months of relevant experience, and demonstrate a person‑centred approach to care. You are committed to safeguarding, effective communication and continuous professional development.
