We are currently working with a well respected Accountancy practice based near Harrow, who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accountant for a Semi Senior Accountant position, they are looking for a self motivated and ambitious individual to come and join their friendly team.
Your duties will be but may not be limited to:
* Preparation of accounts for Limited Companies, Sole traders and Partnerships.
* Book-keeping to trial balance
* Dealing with correspondence from clients and HMRC
* Completing and submitting VAT Returns
* Collating company tax information
To be considered for this opportunity you will need:
* ACCA / AAT Part-Qualified preferable but will consider others
* Have 3 years+ experience within a practice environment
* Have an up to date understanding of UK regulations
* To be competent in MS Office; Word and Excel, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero
* Working knowledge of CCH Central an advantage
* Excellent attention to detail and able to work at speed under your own initiative
