A bit about the job:
As our Mid-Market Team Manager, you'll lead a team of 12–15 underwriters and have overall accountability for:
* Delivering outstanding customer service and market-leading solutions.
* Driving profitable growth and capability development.
* Maintaining governance standards and foster team engagement.
* Making confident decisions and manage shifting priorities.
* Building lasting relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Leadership & People Skills: You're a natural leader who can inspire, communicate clearly, listen actively, and negotiate effectively.
* Insurance Experience: We're looking for someone with a
background leading teams within Insurance – an Underwriting background would be our preference, but other sector disciplines will be considered
* Industry Connections: Your relationships in the market are top-notch, and you know how to leverage them.
* Analytical & Presentation Skills: You can analyse risk and present solutions to brokers and clients with confidence.
* Love of Learning: You're always curious, eager to learn, and excited to improve and grow both personally and professionally.
