Leo Cancer Care is seeking an experienced and driven Logistics Lead to take ownership of our global logistics operations. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless movement of goods across customer sites, trade shows, and manufacturing facilities worldwide.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in global logistics, thrive in a fast-paced, and solutions-focused environment. This role plays a pivotal part in enabling successful customer site installations globally and requires someone who can manage competing priorities while driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
* Lead all installation and spare parts shipments globally (including tooling).
* Support wider business logistics needs, including trade shows and manufacturing materials.
* Prepare commercial invoices and ensure accurate shipping documentation.
* Oversee packing and preparation of shipments in line with regulatory and quality requirements.
* Provide real-time updates to on-site teams regarding delivery progress.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external logistics stakeholders, including customs brokers and freight partners.
* Collaborate closely with Demand Planning to coordinate effective booking and delivery to customer sites.
* Maintain data accuracy and integrity within systems such as NetSuite ERP.
* Ensure Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes are accurate, current, and properly applied to commercial documentation.
* Manage implementation and maintenance of HTS data within NetSuite ERP.
* Develop, implement, and scale logistics processes and strategy in line with business growth.
* Monitor courier performance and manage third-party logistics providers in collaboration with the Global Head of Supply Chain.
* Provide monthly logistics spend reporting and performance summaries.
* Conduct root cause analysis of logistics-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Relevant Knowledge and Skill requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics, preferably within a global environment.
* Proven experience in global logistics and inventory management.
* Strong problem-solving capability with a forward-thinking approach.
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
* Experience with dangerous goods shipments.
* Counterbalance forklift certification (or willingness to complete training).
* Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and warehousing environments.
* Excellent interpersonal, team and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
* Experience with supply chain management systems and procurement tools (NetSuite experience advantageous).
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional scale-up environment.
* Willingness to travel to meet suppliers, colleagues and partners as required.
