The Role:
Join as a cyber security consultant and support a diverse portfolio of UK public sector and defence organisations. Your expertise will help safeguard ICT investments and contribute to nationally critical projects impacting daily life.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Providing insights on information assurance, developing IA strategies, policies, guidance, and awareness initiatives.
* Overseeing security work programs, defining security requirements, designing security architectures, and supervising system accreditation.
Travel within the UK is expected. The main office is in Surrey, southwest of London, with most work on client sites around London. You will liaise directly with stakeholders and manage project delivery.
Start a consulting career focused on information assurance and cyber security, guided by a dedicated mentor, with regular performance reviews and extensive training opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Your tasks may include:
* Supporting system procurements and Agile programs with security expertise.
* Analyzing and evaluating information risks across systems.
* Communicating risks to stakeholders and providing risk mitigation options.
* Creating security assurance documentation.
* Designing security architectures for emerging technologies.
* Providing consultancy on information assurance challenges.
* Defining security testing scope and analyzing findings.
* Monitoring security and investigating incidents.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in UK defence/public sectors, ICT, or enterprise solutions is desirable. Requirements include:
* At least 18 months in complex ICT systems, in delivery or consulting roles.
* Understanding of enterprise ICT.
* Ability to communicate conclusions clearly.
* Experience managing client expectations.
Additional advantageous knowledge includes:
* A STEM or security degree.
* Knowledge of security frameworks and architecture methodologies.
* Experience with risk assessments, software development, and enterprise security tools.
