Legal Secretary
Duties include:
* Manage diaries, ensuring they are up-to-date, anticipating requirements, e.g., booking meeting rooms.
* Arrange photocopying, printing, organising couriers, sending letters, emails, etc.
* Receiving instructions via digital dictation for tasks and acting upon the same.
* Key point of contact for fee earners and clients to maintain relationships and ensure a high level of support is always provided by the team.
* Following up on designated actions to ensure completion.
* Assisting fee earners with billing-related tasks.
* Reviewing and updating time allocation and disbursements, ensuring appropriate matter allocation.
* Supporting in compliance.
Legal Secretary requirements:
* Attention to detail.
* Knowledge of relevant MS Office applications.
* Key team player.
* Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
* Experience working within legal sector, in particular with Solicitors, an advantage but not necessary.
* Experience working in Legal Aid Firms, an advantage but not necessary
