Machine Operative - AM/PM Rotating Preston (PR2) Monday to Friday (Weekly Rotating Shifts): AM Shift: 06:00 - 14:00 PM Shift: Monday - Thursday: 13:45 - 22:15 Friday: 13:45 - 19:15 What We're Looking For: We are looking for a reliable Machine Operative who can operate and maintain machinery while ensuring all safety and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Operate machinery with minimal supervision Understand basic machine functions and mechanics Carry out quality checks on equipment and finished products Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations Support in training new operators where required Main Duties: Produce self-adhesive labels, tickets, and tags Consistently meet productivity targets Maintain high quality standards at all times Accurately complete job and time records Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe Requirements: Good general level of education 1-3 years' experience in label printing or similar machinery Experience working in a fast-paced production environment Ability to meet targets and deadlines Basic computer and numerical skills Strong problem-solving ability and initiative Flexible approach with the ability to follow detailed instructions Benefits: Weekly pay Holiday pay Online employee portal The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
