Temporary Health and Social Care Lecturer
Location: Further Education settingContract: TemporaryHours: 14.5 hours per weekWorking Days: Thursday and Friday (full days)
We are seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer on a temporary basis to deliver the NCFE Level 3 Technical Extended Diploma (T Level) in Health and Social Care.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality teaching to 16-18-year-old learners within a Further Education environment. You will deliver a range of Level 3 units, supporting learners to achieve both academic success and practical understanding of the sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver teaching on the NCFE Level 3 Health and Social Care programme
* Teach specific units including:
o Health Education
o Role of Play
o Mental Health
o Positive Behaviour
* Plan lessons, assess learner work, and provide constructive feedback
* Support learners' progress and maintain accurate records in line with college requirements
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Proven experience delivering Level 3 NCFE Health and Social Care courses
* Experience teaching 16-18 learners within a Further Education setting
* Strong subject knowledge across the specified units
* Ability to engage, motivate, and manage learners effectively
Qualifications
* A formal teaching qualification is not essential
* Candidates must be experienced and confident in teaching at Level 3 within FE
