* Participating in an out-of-hours On Call roster with other members of the Department, responding to emergency maintenance needs where necessary.
* Waste disposal, or the coordination of collection.
* Supporting tenancy-related tasks connected with general maintenance.
* Maintaining records and systems in line with the Company’s maintenance reporting procedures.
* Work safely and in accordance with the company’s policies and risk assessments to preserve personal safety.
* Reporting and mitigating any health and safety issues observed within a property.
* Carrying out ad hoc duties as required, to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and Service Users.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

* Have previous experience in a similar role, or be able to demonstrate experience and capability within the areas listed above.
* Have a full clean driving licence and be able to safely drive a company van.
* Ideally hold relevant training and qualifications for at least one specialist maintenance area, e.g., carpentry, electricals, gas, etc.
* Uphold the company’s values in providing a safe high-quality home to individuals supported by the company.
* Comply with all company training requirements, and be willing to undertake additional external training at the request of the company.
