Job Description
I'm currently partnered with a leading global insurance firm, who is searching for a Data Programme Manager to join their team. This role is suited for candidates experienced in running large projects, looking for the next step up in their career.
Role Responsibilities:
* Taking a lead role in data governance, ensuring robust controls and QA are in place to ensure data is appropriate for stakeholder decision-making.
* Taking a lead role in providing quality assurance of data projects with the ability to liaise across data engineering, data science and software engineering developments.
* Leading technical business requirements for the underwriting data and data warehouse development team.
* Taking the lead in facilitating collaboration between teams within underwriting and across other departments successfully influencing stakeholders.
* Coordinating data projects with different levels of complexity using existing methods, processes and tools.
The successful candidate will likely have:
* Previous experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver programmes, projects and/or technologies.
* Hand-on experience with SQL.
* Knowledge of MS/Azure technologies such as Power BI and Databricks.
* Previous experience working within Insurance desirable.
This role is open to candidates with a strong background working with stakeholders, preferably from a business/data analyst background.
