Role Description
The Connections Coordinator will manage and support daily operational activities for customer connections. This key role ensures effective communication between contractors, customers, and internal teams, maintaining quality and compliance. As part of the Mission Control team, the 'save-the-day' function, you will ensure customer connections and surveys are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. You will handle daily queries and resolve issues raised by field engineers and customers to keep projects on track and minimise downtime. This position is ideal for candidates seeking a career in telecommunications with a leading company delivering fibre-based products and services across the UK.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage a daily workstack of connections.
2. Oversee contractors to ensure connections and surveys meet standards.
3. Coordinate on-the-day connections and surveys.
4. Conduct pre-checks on scheduled connections for the past, current, and upcoming weeks to ensure readiness and address potential issues.
5. Track connections and survey updates daily.
6. Update customers and partners on order progress.
7. Support customer coordinators with partner updates.
8. Work through the ITS WIP to facilitate order progress.
9. Identify and manage risks and issues to minimise impact on customers.
10. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive environment and build strong relationships across the business.
