ClimateTech

Want to shape products that help fight climate change?

At Bohr, the products we build don’t just move roadmaps forward, they directly help reduce methane emissions and make Europe’s gas networks cleaner, safer, and ready for net zero.

We’re tackling one of the world’s most urgent challenges: detecting and repairing methane leaks faster across ageing gas infrastructure. As Product Owner for our API & Portal Suite, you’ll play a central role in turning complex data into tools that utilities rely on every day to protect the planet.

About Bohr

Everything we do at Bohr is driven by a single purpose: to decarbonise energy through innovation.

Through our methane emissions division, Tectrac, we combine cutting-edge mobile leak detection technology with advanced analytics and GIS-led insight. Our platform helps utilities identify the largest methane leaks quickly, prioritise repairs effectively, and dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

By bringing together engineering, data science, and geospatial intelligence, we’re modernising one of the world’s oldest infrastructures to support a zero-carbon future.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of our API and Portal Suite, the core products used by UK and EU utilities to manage methane surveys, quantify emissions, and improve network safety.

You’ll act as the bridge between customers, stakeholders, and our Bristol-based development teams, translating business needs into clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria. You’ll own the backlog and roadmap, prioritising features based on business value and ROI, while balancing scope, time, and budget.

This is a hands-on role where clarity, ownership, and collaboration matter. You’ll work closely with engineers, stakeholders, and users to ensure we deliver high-impact features, integrations, and improvements that perform in the real world.

What Success Looks Like

After 12 months, you’ll have:

* A clear, outcome-driven roadmap for the API & Portal Suite
* A well-maintained backlog with development-ready user stories
* Agile sprints delivering meaningful features and integrations
* Simple, effective product KPIs (adoption, task success, API performance, time-to-value)
* Regular, clear stakeholder updates and release communications

Most importantly, your work will have a measurable impact on how utilities detect, prioritise, and reduce methane emissions.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys ownership, thrives on collaboration, and is motivated by building products that make a real-world environmental impact.

Essential:

* Strong experience translating business and user needs into clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
* Proven backlog ownership, prioritisation, and sprint planning experience
* Confident decision-making based on business value, ROI, and data
* Comfortable working with technical teams on APIs, data flows, and integrations (no coding required)
* Excellent stakeholder communication and expectation management skills
* Data-led mindset, using KPIs, usage data, and feedback to guide decisions
* Comfortable working on-site in Bristol three days per week (UK right to work required)

Desirable:

* Appreciation for UX and customer-centred design
* Experience negotiating priorities and influencing without authority
* Background in utilities, GIS, infrastructure, or data-heavy products
* Leadership potential and a desire to grow with the platform
* Curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement

Why Join Bohr?

At Bohr, our work genuinely matters.

You’ll help the UK and Europe move closer to net zero by tackling methane emissions head-on, join a fast-scaling ClimateTech company where product decisions directly shape sustainability outcomes, and have the opportunity to own and evolve a core platform as we expand across Europe.

You’ll also enjoy:

* Hybrid working with autonomy and flexibility from our Bristol office
* Competitive salary (up to £60,000, open to discussion for the right person)
* 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
* Pension contribution scheme
* Participation in our EMI share scheme

If you’re a Product Owner passionate about turning complex data into impactful solutions, this is your chance to drive products that protect the planet and accelerate the transition to net zero.
