TEXO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Tar Operative to join our external established civil construction client based in Aberdeen.
* Skills, Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience in road surfacing or tarring is preferred.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Team player with good communication skills.
* Spill kit training.
* Manual handling training.
* UK Driving licence – HGV is desirable but not essential.
* Responsibilities: Perform civil engineering tasks like roadworks, drainage, slab/kerb laying, cable pulling, and concrete work.
* Transport and operate the tar box.
* Keep assigned vehicles, equipment, and machinery clean, maintained, and regularly checked.
* Operate machinery and equipment per standard procedures and only if certified.
* Follow all health and safety regulations.
* Complete other tasks as requested by management.
