Youth Options has developed a reputation for delivering high quality youth work; our prevention services are aimed at reducing the number of children and young people who are at risk of exclusion from society, engaging in harmful behaviours or at risk of poor mental health.
Our prevention services include providing diversionary activities, informal learning opportunities and information and guidance delivered through open access community-based and detached youth work, play sessions, and centre-based provision. The support we offer ensures that young people are better informed about life choices and the opportunities available to them as well as having the opportunity to improve their social and emotional capabilities.
Our Prevention Service continues to grow; we are looking for a Deputy to support this growth and ensure we are delivering high quality support to children and young people, engaging with local partners and shaping the future direction of the service.
You will be responsible for managing Team Leaders across a number of geographic areas (initially Winchester, Basingstoke and Totton). The role will also include working across all prevention services supporting the Head of Prevention Services to ensure quality, develop new and existing services, evidence impact and develop the staff team.
