We currently have four homes' in West Sussex Worthing area however we are now embarking on a new home within the Shoreham area which will support children aged 8 to 18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
We are looking for a residential support workers for a 5&6 bedded children's home in the Shoreham, Lancing and Worthing area. We are looking people who are interested in a new challenge and feel that they are able to provide children with a nurturing environment to grow up in.
Experience is not essential as we offer an excellent induction training package which includes the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care on completion of your probationary period.
We are looking for someone who:

· Has the ability to cope with and remain calm in challenging and demanding situations
· Is able to provide nurturing parenting to the children in our home
· Has integrity and good character
Your main responsibilities will be:
· Assist in the day to day running of the home
· To provide care in line with Children's Homes Regulations including Quality Standards
· To develop and maintain positive relationships with children, adults, families and professionals
· Report writing
· To provide a child centred approach that includes equality, rights, inclusion and listening to the children's wishes and feelings
· To provide the children with a nurturing parental presence
· To advocate for each child
