British Transport Police is recruiting Police Officers to serve and protect across the UK rail network.

Responsibilities
* Visible patrolling of rail and station premises
* Responding to emergencies and incidents
* Conducting criminal investigations
* Gathering and analysing intelligence
* Building trust with the communities we serve
* Tackling serious and organised crime
* Addressing graffiti, theft and other property offences

Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Permanent right to live and work in the UK
* Resided consistently in the UK for the past 3 years
* No recent unsuccessful application for BTP Police Officer or Special Constable (within the last 6 months)
* No recent unsuccessful application for police officer, special constable or PCSO (within the last 6 months)
* No recent unsuccessful BTP vetting checks (within the last 12 months)
* No custodial sentence or suspended sentence
* No dismissal from another force or live investigation
* No bankrupt or CCJ or IVA
* No offensive tattoos; tattoos on face and neck considered case‑by‑case
