Teach Plus is currently working with a ‘Good' primary school located in Camden that is seeking an interventions PPA teacher.
The school is committed to providing the best learning experiences for every child. Their aim is to deliver a curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils and prepares them for the next stage in their learning.
The school sets and achieves high standards through practical learning and a thematic approach.
As an Interventions PPA Cover Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Identifying pupils' struggles and assisting them to get back on track
* Using a range of strategies to manage classroom behaviour, promoting effective behaviour management
* Providing a calm, constructive environment for pupils to carry out activities in the absence of the class teacher
* Marking completed work according to the school's marking policy
* Handling immediate problems or emergencies within the class, following school policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
* Experience teaching interventions in UK primary schools
* A flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
* A strong work ethic and commitment for at least one academic year
* UK-recognized QTS qualification
* Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
* Right to work in the UK
