An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Day/Night Security (Casual) person to join The Langley, a Luxury Collection Hotel.
A former country estate, The Langley is a luxury hotel and spa that opened in early 2019, in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside. As sister hotel to The Wellesley Knightsbridge, Londons finest boutique-grand hotel, it offers the same level of luxury and exclusivity but with its own unique character and setting.
We are currently seeking Day/Night Security (Casual) personnel to join our team. You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
The role is a zero hours contract covering the day or night shift according to business needs.
General duties will include:
Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service
Gate control and traffic management
Support the front office team where necessary
Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies when necessary
Conduct regular inspections of the premises, ensuring all security measures are in place and functioning correctly
Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests, visitors and staff while maintaining security protocols
The ideal candidate will:
Have an SIA licence
Have excellent communication and customer service skills
Health & Safety awareness
Ability to deter anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activities
Be able to work alone or as part of a team
Impeccable grooming standards
Good level of written and spoken English
Have the right to work in the UK and be able to evidence this
