What will you be doing?
1. Timely visits to customer sites to undertake the installation, service and support of Microlise products
2. Completing survey visits and identifying suitable solutions
3. Completing QA visits on Microlise products and peripherals in customer assets
4. Inventory management
5. Responsible for the upkeep and safety of your vehicle and all provided tools /equipment
6. Liaise with customers at all levels
7. Provide support to your peers and contractor resource where required
8. Ensure administration is concise, accurate and professional
9. Adhere to all internal process and procedures
10. Report on statistical information when required
What are we looking for?
11. Knowledge and understanding of electronics/auto electrics, or experience working with auto electrics, would be ideal
12. Experience of working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules
13. Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and ability to interpret these would be advantageous
14. Evidence of strong customer service skills with a professional approach
15. A positive can-do attitude, with a strong desire to learn new skills
16. Passionate and positive approach to all that you do
17. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adjust style to relevant audiences
18. Be able to wok autonomously, solve problems independently and adhere to agreed processes
19. Take pride in what you do ensuring quality and accuracy
20. Flexibility to work nationwide including overnight stays
21. Valid Passport for travel
22. Full UK Driving Licence
Working Pattern
Our Field Engineers work shifts on a rota basis, including weekends, to suit the requirements of our customers. Full details regarding our working patterns can be discussed at the interview stage.
This is a field based role covering the York region, however our Head Office is based in Nottingham and you will be required to visit Head Office on an ad-hoc basis in line with business needs.
