JustOT is recruiting an HCPC-registered, experienced Occupational Therapist to work with our well-respected client based in Hampshire and surrounding areas.
Hourly rate: GBP 38 per hour.
Location: London.
Hours and Days: Full Time.
Essential Requirements: HCPC registration, 3 years of Social Services experience.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The role involves providing person-centered functional analysis and interventions, in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, informed by occupational therapy clinical knowledge, skills, and values.
Contract duration: 3 months (initial).

Responsibilities
* Assess patients' physical and mental capabilities to develop tailored treatment plans.
* Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises to promote independence.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
* Stay updated with advancements in occupational therapy practices and medical imaging techniques.
Skills and Requirements
* Undertake assessments of Hampshire residents to ensure safe and independent access to their homes and facilities. Be prepared to manage expectations of residents, some of whom may have been waiting over 18 months for OT assessments.
* Experience with Adults Services, PD clients, and moving and handling is required.
* Must hold a full UK driving license and have access to an insured vehicle for business use (business miles claimable).
