Job Title: Individual Need Assistants
A school in Hailsham is seeking Individual Need Assistants to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. We are looking for empathetic, driven, and passionate individuals who enjoy working with young people.
The role involves working on a 1:1 or small group basis with children aged 11-16 to support their engagement with learning. You may work with students with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEND) or Social Emotional Mental Health needs (SEMH).
While experience in an educational setting is beneficial, it is not essential. Successful candidates have backgrounds in youth work, care, hospital experience, art/creative fields, psychology, sociology, or related areas. No formal teaching or learning support qualifications are required, but comfort in supporting students' learning is necessary.
Hours
- Monday to Friday (part-time options available)
