The Field Service Engineer is the responsible contact person for our customers throughout the entire product life cycle of our solutions. They will visit our customers on site and help them solve various problems, from installation and preventive maintenance to electrical troubleshooting. This position is part of the Field Service Team Europe and will be remote/field-based.

Typical day
* In this role you will be responsible for the installation, start-up, warranty, post warranty and maintenance for our Municipal and Industrial equipment during the lifecycle of our products.
* Predominantly customer-based, your tasks will include electrical and mechanical service, advanced troubleshooting, training of site personnel and advising customers and partners to optimize the use of the UV equipment. Time will be allocated to administrative works at your home office.
* Travel within EMEA will be required for the role. You will spend approximately 80% of your time on customer sites including overnights.
Qualifications
* A post-secondary accreditation in an electrical or electronic discipline
* Experience in working in a field service role or in an inhouse maintainance role within the Water / Wastewater / Industrial area
* Knowledge and experience of working with PLC
