Job Description:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Wedding & Events Coordinator to plan and deliver unforgettable weddings and special events at our hotel, ensuring each occasion runs smoothly and exceeds client expectations. Experience in a similar role is essential.
The role forms part of the wider sales team which includes Sales Manager, Meetings Coordinator and Revenue Manager. The 4 star hotel with high volume meeting & events, multi outlet operation would suit a candidate from a quality weddings background. I have attached the wedding brochure for you. Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the main point of contact for wedding and event clients from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up.
2. Coordinate all aspects of weddings, receptions, and social events including timelines, setups, menus, and vendor arrangements.
3. Conduct venue tours, consultations, and planning meetings with prospective clients to understand their vision and requirements.
4. Work closely with internal departments—F&B, kitchen, banqueting, front office, and housekeeping—to ensure seamless event execution.
5. Create detailed event orders and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on logistics and expectations.
6. Provide personalized service, guiding clients through decisions on menus, layouts, themes, and special touches.
7. Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and contracts, ensuring all administrative duties are handled efficiently.
8. Support post-event reviews and feedback to continuously improve services and strengthen client relationships.
9. Organise two wedding fairs on site and exhibit at off site events
