As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding cloud architecture, implementing security best practices, and providing actionable solutions to evolving security challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud security, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to act as a stakeholder and communicate effectively. Job Duties of the Senior Cloud Engineer: â • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.â • Manage Kubernetes platforms across both on-premises and cloud environments.â • Serve as a senior technical stakeholder, taking ownership of key cloud initiatives.â • Collaborate closely with the Information Security team to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.â • Use Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC).â • Partner with DevOps teams to streamline CI/ CD pipelines and deployment processes.â • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot complex applications and infrastructure environments. Requirements of the Senior Cloud Engineer: â • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering.â • At least 4 years of hands-on AWS security experience, including services such as VPC, EKS, EC2, IAM, and Route 53.â • Strong expertise in AWS cloud networking and third-line infrastructure support.â • Proven experience in system architecture, including compute, memory, and storage design.â • Solid hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.â • A proactive individual with a growth mindset, ideally seeking progression toward an Architect-level role in the near future.
