We are currently recruiting a Research Scientist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Research Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and optimising new mammalian cell culture technologies to maintain our client's position as a leading contract manufacturer.
This is an initial 12 month contract.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Research Scientist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Research Scientist, you will work closely with the upstream research and technology team to plan and execute several complex experimental programmes simultaneously.
2. As the Research Scientist, you will generate experimental results and review respective scientific documentation.
3. As the Research Scientist, you will ensure that studies are scientifically sound and align with current regulatory guidance and expectations.
4. As the Research Scientist, you will adhere to lab procedures and support safety assessments.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Research Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology.
2. Proven industry experience in biotechnology.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with mammalian cell culture techniques.
