Day Rate: £340 per day (inside IR35 equivalent)

Location: Hybrid – occasional travel (1–2 times per month to a UK hub location

Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA Consultant to support the delivery of high-quality digital services within a large-scale public sector environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on QA professional with strong automation and performance testing experience, who can work collaboratively within agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts
* Ensure quality across the full software development lifecycle
* Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and delivery teams
* Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
* Conduct performance testing and contribute to test strategy
* Identify defects, risks, and areas for improvement
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in test automation using:
* Java
* Selenium
* Cucumber
* Playwright
* Experience in performance testing
* Proven ability to work in agile delivery environments
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
* Experience working within a government or public sector organisation
Additional Information
* Candidates must be eligible to undergo BPSS clearance
* Occasional travel to a UK hub office is required (1–2 times per month)
