Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a well‑motivated Senior Paediatric Audiologist to join our friendly Audiology team based at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.
Our paediatric and adult Audiology services operate within the same department, although there may be scope to work in adults, this is a predominantly paediatric role.
Responsibilities
* Assist in providing audiology services, diagnostic support to the ENT department, and a comprehensive hospital and community rehabilitation service across West Norfolk.
* Work independently performing routine and specialist paediatric audiology activities, including hearing assessments, hearing aid assessments, fitting, repair, and maintenance for adults and/or children, including those with learning disabilities and difficult audiometric configurations.
* Supervise and/or train less experienced staff, students, and trainees.
* Act as a role model, consistently demonstrating QEHKL values of Kindness, Wellness and Fairness, and supporting an inclusive culture.
Qualifications
* BSc in Audiology or equivalent.
* Experience working within an NHS hearing aid service.
