Long-Term Teachers are working with fantastic mainstream and SEND schools for pupils, and we are looking for more qualified primary school teachers to help us support these local schools.
We are seeking a caring, dedicated, qualified teacher who can build trusting relationships with students, parents, and peers. It is essential that you have at least 2 years of experience teaching in the UK. You will be planning and delivering sessions for students in Key Stage 2, so previous experience teaching this key stage is desirable.
Essential requirements prior to application:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching across the primary phase
* Proven classroom teaching experience
* Experience setting targets, monitoring, assessment, and performance tracking to raise pupil achievement
* Ability to work well within a team
* Understanding of SEND and support strategies
Key responsibilities:
* Setting and evaluating individual termly targets; maintaining achievement records for CYP in consultation with colleagues
* Providing reports and assessments for CYP according to school policy, including detailed reports before annual reviews
* Maintaining effective communication with parents/carers regarding their child's welfare, progress, and participation
* Ensuring pupil safeguarding by adhering to Education Provisions (EP) safeguarding policies, reporting concerns, and recording information on the EP safeguarding system
