Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker with at least 1 year experience with specialist care which involves the following: learning disabilities, mental health, physical disabilities - hoist training as mandatory. A level of personal care is expected from the worker. Moving and handling and hoist using experience is also required. An ideal worker will support and provide care to vulnerable service users with complex needs in a nursing led home. The worker will be in a group setting working with a service user depending on their care plan. They will be required to engage with the service users to help and guide them to complete tasks as well as take part in group activities. The worker will be required to carry out or assist in personal care if or when required. Good written skills and spoken English is crucial to fill out any paperwork and communicate with the service users.
