Description:
* Hands on experience of a sales ledger migration; able to develop and complete financial reconciliation and data validation on large data sets within a short timeframe.
* Advanced Excel and Power BI to validate data, test outputs, and produce interim sales ledger analysis and reporting while systems stabilise.
* functional user acceptance testing (UAT) for assurance of sales ledger processes and reporting outputs.
* validating new financial reporting structures aligned to the new system chart of accounts and sales ledger system processes.
* identifying and resolving financial data quality issues and escalating risks during transformation.
* Strong analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex problems.
* Persistent, curious mindset focused on uncovering root causes of issues impacting financial processes.
* Critical thinker able to challenge assumptions and validate information.
Desirable:
* Qualified accountant with strong understanding of the financial ledgers, financial controls, and audit implications associated with billing system transformation.
* Effective cross functional collaboration across Finance, AR, Billing, and Tax.
