Overview
An exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Team at Glenrothes Hospital. The Intermediate Care Service delivers rehabilitation to adults throughout the locality, as in‑patients, out‑patients or in their own home.
Responsibilities
* Carry out assessment and treatment for a mixed caseload, mainly older people with complex needs.
* Work independently and as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
* Possibility of working at other community hospital sites within the area.
* Provide regular supervision and participate in Professional Development Plans (PDP).
* Travel throughout the area as required.
Qualifications
* Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experience working with older people is desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including public holidays.
Working Hours & Conditions
Flexible hours over 7 days, with public holiday duties including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
