Role Overview
In this role, you will assist the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store. You will be responsible for various duties to ensure that store KPIs are met. In the Manager’s absence, you will be the first point of contact, motivating the team to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and exceed targets while maintaining company standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide considerate and responsible service to customers throughout their visit.
2. Handle inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly.
3. Ensure team members' appearance and dress standards align with company guidelines.
4. Understand and utilize the Customer Service measuring program and Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
5. Achieve and aim to exceed sales targets.
6. Interpret relevant Oracle reports effectively.
7. Utilize in-store devices to enhance team performance.
8. Analyze store dashboard metrics like Footfall, ATV, and Conversion rates.
9. Use visual techniques to attract, engage, and motivate customers to make purchases.
10. Ensure weekly briefs are completed and communicated to the team.
11. Maintain correct pricing, update price amendments, and display POS appropriately.
12. Keep merchandise displays clean and presentable at all times.
Training & Development
1. Develop internal staff and promote career progression within the group.
2. Monitor staff development through the Training and Development platform and track progress via e-assessments.
3. Assist with store recruitment, onboarding, and staff training.
4. Prioritize management development using the Trainee Management Academy.
Skills, Experience & Knowledge
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
