What you'll do We're recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join our Public Sector Acquisition Sales team here at VodafoneThree. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for covering both prospect organisations within the public sector, as well as an account base of low spending customers. These will typically be within in the 250 employee customer size space, but this can vary depending on the territory being covered. The role is a mix of direct sales, and "sell with" on larger opportunities, where you will work together with Public Sector Business Development Managers to understand the challenges our prospects face and how to leverage our Business portfolio (e.g. Mobility, Connectivity, Cloud, Hosting, Security, Unified Communications & Internet Of Things). Wider responsibilities will also include, but will not be limited to: Pro-active self-generation of new business, both self-owned and co-working opportunities, with a view to achieving our sales charter KPI's. Effective collaboration with field based Public Sector Business Development teams to support more sizable opportunities uncovered. Support in effective time management and investment of available hours per customer, to ensure base coverage, addressable market penetration and successful conversion. Work towards achieving exemplary customer satisfaction metrics and drive positive customer experience. Delivery of monthly, quarterly and Annual Order Value (AOV) sales target(s). Who you are The ideal candidate will be looking to build the foundations of a strong B2B professional sales career. Some sales and/or public sector experience is preferred, but not essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an appetite for continuous learning and development as a sales professional. A passion for technology and digitisation A positive attitude and willingness to embrace change. Demonstrative record of working within a team, understanding how collaboration with others can accomplish objectives. Understanding that the quality and timeliness of the work you produce will reflect on the effectiveness of the team.
