Job Title: Stock Controller
Location: Bolton
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
Job Description:
As a Stock Controller, you’ll be:
* Responsible for maintaining stock accuracy within SAP, overseeing perpetual inventory checks, and driving continuous improvements in stock control processes.
* You’ll conduct investigations into stock discrepancies, lead root cause analysis, and develop preventative actions to ensure inventory integrity.
* The Stock Controller will liaise closely with departments such as Procurement, Finance, QHSE, and Production Planning to ensure smooth communication and on-time stock availability for production.
* You’ll also support external audits, maintain accurate documentation, and mentor team members on best practices in SAP and stock management.
Skills & Experience:
* 3–5 years’ experience in stock control, inventory, or supply chain within manufacturing or process industries
* Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred)
* Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
* Confident communicator and collaborator across departments
* Resilient and adaptable under pressure
