Permanent salary £33,733 We have fantastic opportunities available for Driver Assistants, Drivers Mates, and Porters to join our client - one of the UK's largest suppliers of furniture. You'll be supporting delivery drivers with home deliveries, placing items in the customer's room of choice, and providing exceptional customer service as a representative of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with completing deliveries on time and according to schedule
Provide friendly, helpful, and professional service to every customer
Keep customers updated by calling ahead
Support with delivering and assembling furniture inside customer homes
Requirements:
Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture (manual handling experience desirable)
PDA experience preferred but not essential
Physically fit due to the nature of the role
Good level of spoken English
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
