Professional Indemnity Underwriter & Broker- Burgess Hill - ARD978052
We’re on the hunt for an engaging and dynamic Professional Indemnity Underwriter & Broker who will administer, generate revenue and develop the profitability of the business providing a quality service to all clients according to their needs. In this role you will be responsible for growing your own book of income earning business.

The role is office based in Burgess Hill however the team currently work in a hybrid manner and are extremely flexible with working patterns.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Retain and grow the existing book
2. Seek and win new business
3. Cross-sell additional products where appropriate
4. Request referral business from existing clients
5. Share technical knowledge with other staff
6. Maintain your pipeline of business opportunities to ensure your book of business continues to grow
7. Ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client and insurer: Client visit/initial contact Identification of needs Negotiation and presentation to insurers in order to secure most appropriate cover for the client Presentation of recommendations and cover to the client Closing the sale and ensuring cover is on risk Securing cross selling business and referrals
8. Ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client and insurer and conducting related administration work: New business Renewals Mid Term Adjustments Claims Queries Premium financing arrangements

Essential:
9. Experience of working in the insurance industry for at least 2 years
10. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to work under pressure

15. Proactive attitude, with the ability to use initiative
