SEN Teaching Assistant Job Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Edgware, North West London Daily Rate: £85.20 – £120 per day Contract: Full-time Start Date: ASAP We are currently seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Edgware. This is a full-time opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential in a supportive educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Support learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO. Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. Assist with behaviour management using positive and consistent strategies. Adapt support to meet individual learning needs and learning styles. Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Support pupils in developing independence, confidence, and resilience. What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs (preferred but not essential).
