Position Overview: We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join us as High-Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs). As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to support teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups, making a significant contribution to the success of our school.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead small group activities and interventions to support student learning
2. Provide support to teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons
3. Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress
4. Lead on the management of classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
5. Act as a role model and mentor to other teaching assistants
Requirements:
6. Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
7. HLTA qualification or willingness to work towards achieving HLTA status
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Excellent organisational and time management skills
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative
