Social Media Performance & Content Specialist – Scottish Highlands (Part-Time)
Woodside Lodge is one of Scotland’s most romantic private estates, located on the shores of Loch Goil in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
For many years we have quietly welcomed couples from around the world who travel here for intimate weddings, elopements and romantic Highland escapes.
As we begin an exciting new phase of marketing, we are looking for a Social Media Performance & Content Specialist to help bring the Woodside Lodge story to a global audience.
This is a technical social media role focused on growing reach, engagement and bookings, rather than a travel influencer or lifestyle content position.
The role is suited to someone who understands the mechanics of social media platforms and how to turn great visual content into successful campaigns.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who:
* understands Instagram and Facebook algorithms
* enjoys creating reels and short-form video
* understands reach, engagement and posting strategy
* has a technical interest in how social media platforms work
* wants real experience building and growing a luxury hospitality brand
The exciting part is that the content already exists.
Woodside Lodge has an extensive archive of professional photography, wedding films and guest stories — your role will be to turn this material into engaging social media content and ensure it reaches the right audience.
You will work closely with the founder in a hands-on entrepreneurial environment, helping grow the visibility of a unique Highland destination.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys executing content and growing social media accounts, rather than developing long strategic marketing plans.
Working structure
This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who is comfortable working remotely from home.
If selected, candidates will first take part in a two-week trial period, during which you will work directly with the founder via video calls while developing initial social media content.
If the trial is successful and the role becomes permanent, you will be invited to visit Woodside Lodge, meet the team and experience how we operate as a successful family business that has been welcoming guests since 1997.
