Job Overview
The post holder will have professional responsibility for a defined population/caseload and lead the delivery & organisation of the Public Health programme, delivering the nursing component of the School Health Programme to a school age population within a defined number of schools.
Main duties of the job
Based within the community setting, the practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care offered to families, with particular attention to safeguarding children.
They will be responsible for coordinating and delegating work within a skill mix team.
Candidates must hold a SCPHN degree or equivalent in School Nursing with current NMC registration.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
