Salary: £48,500.00 - £53,000.00 Per year
Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager – Electrical to join our Property Services team, covering Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, and the New Forest area. Reporting to the Electrical Operations Manager, this role will lead a team of electrical specialists to deliver a customer‑centric, high‑quality, value‑for‑money property safety and compliance service across SNG's localities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a high‑performance team of electricians, contractors, and sub‑contractors.
* Deliver electrical property safety and compliance programmes and projects, meeting agreed performance and financial targets.
* Set and maintain high levels of safe working practices across all areas of property maintenance in line with health and safety legislation and Construction (Design and Management) regulations.
* Escalate concerns to the Building Safety & Compliance team for investigation.
* Analyse business information, formulate metrics, and drive continuous improvement to support commercial success.
Qualifications and Experience
* Technical knowledge of electrical safety and current electrical and building regulations.
* Relevant qualifications: City and Guilds 2360 or 2368 Level 3, NVQ Level 3, BS7671 Level 3 (City and Guilds 2381) and/or City and Guilds 2391 testing.
* Previous supervisory or management experience in electrical safety and compliance.
* Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to translate policy changes into value‑for‑money solutions.
